Segmentation of Psoriasis Vulgaris Images Using Orthogonal Subspace Techniques

In the paper, we focus on the chronic plaque psoriasis. It has the following characteristics. It is a well-defined plaque that is the most common presentation of psoriasis. Lesions can appear anywhere on the cutaneous surface. They enlarge to a certain size and then tend to remain stable for months or years. A temporary brown, white, or red macula remains when the plaque subsides. Typical images are shown in Figures 5 and 6. ABSTRACT
